Temple of Satan Initiate Agreement
This Agreement is entered into on this date of, by and between: the party entered in the “Your Name” box at the bottom of this Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Initiate”), and The Dark Lords, Inc., DBA Temple of Satan aka ToS, as a Washington state corporation, with a mailing address of PO Box 12051, Seattle, WA 98102 (hereinafter referred to as “ToS”):
Purpose.
This Agreement defines the terms by which ToS will provide initiation services to Initiate, which may include, but is not limited to: in-person instruction; text, audio and video communications via the internet, telephone or other media; mailing of books, documents, videos and other materials. These materials and services will be collectively known as the “Initiation Program”. The initiation program is strictly for role-playing, entertainment, educational and/or religious purposes.
Non-Liability.
You agree not to hold ToS liable for anything that you may do or which may happen to you as a result of the Initiation Program. This may include, but is not limited to, personal injury to yourself or another, health problems, mental anguish, accident, litigation, arrest, incarceration, financial loss or property damage. You understand that ToS does not condone illegal behavior and is in no way encouraging such behavior. You understand that some of ToS’s initiation may include material which is offensive, disturbing or dangerous (though legal).
Legal Age, Accuracy & Soundness.
You acknowledge that you are at least 18 years of age and that any personal information submitted herein is accurate. You agree to provide proof of your identity and age to ToS by mail, email, fax or other legal means upon request. If any of this information is found to be inconsistent, this Agreement shall be null and void. You also attest that you are of sound mind in entering into this Agreement.
Copyright.
You acknowledge that the initiation programs including the original and any copies thereof, in whole or in part, and all trade secrets, copyrights, patent and other intellectual and proprietary rights therein, are and remain the valuable property of ToS. The Initiation Program may not be copied, reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or retransmitted in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, whether electrical, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise without the prior written permission of ToS.
Restrictions on Use.
The Initiation Program is provided for Your individual use solely for initiation purposes. You may not: (a) copy, reproduce, or publish the Initiation Program; (b) electronically transfer or distribute the Initiation Program to others; (c) modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the printed, electronic, or written content of the Initiation Program; (d) assign, rent, lend, share, or sublease the Initiation Program; or (e) sell or transfer the Initiation Program.
Publication Rights.
You agree that records of your Initiation Program, including text, video and other materials, may be incorporated by ToS into future Initiation Programs, books, videos/films, web sites, or other publications at ToS’s sole discretion and/or determined by the board of The Dark Lords, Inc., unless otherwise specified by the the sole account holder. You understand that you may opt out of having your written Initiate material and/or videos published by notifying the Two Gatekeepers, aka “NaRgol” and “Nohj”, by email at templeofsatan666@gmail.com.
Governing Law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington state without regard to conflicts of law principles thereof, regardless of its place of execution or performance.
Expenses.
The expenses of initiation at ToS are the cost of acquiring our book(s) from a third party, e.g. amazon.com. In return, you will be guided through the first Gate of initiation offered by the Gatekeepers at no extra expense to you. If done correctly and with power, your first Gate of initiation should take no longer than 30 days to complete. Note: We occasionally send along books and other items to those Initiates of the Temple who show the most promise, for just the price of postage. Also note that If you are not able to afford some of our books or other products, you may earn them by doing something of value to Temple of Satan.
